We want to share some news about two people who have meant a great deal to Garforth Town over the past year.
James and Kellie have made the decision to step down from their roles at the club, effective 1st June. This was not an easy decision, and it comes purely down to the increasing demands on their time outside of football.
James said: "Being part of Garforth Town has been a genuine privilege. Kellie and I are incredibly proud of what we've been able to contribute and we leave with nothing but respect and admiration for everyone involved in building this club. We'll be cheering you on."
Andy Hey, Chairman, said: "We're disappointed to lose James and Kellie. They've given a huge amount to this club and we're genuinely grateful for everything they've contributed. But we're ambitious, we're growing, and there's a real opportunity here for the right people to get involved and make their mark. If you've ever thought about being part of something special in this community, now is the time to talk to us."
From everyone at Garforth Town, thank you James and Kellie. Your energy, commitment and belief in what we are doing here has made a real difference. You will always be part of this club's story.
