Another home game for Garforth, as they take on last seasons Northern League Champions - Redcar Athletic.
The Steelmen thumped Pontefract Collieries 5-1 on Wednesday (a scoreline that Garforth could have had the night before).
In fact, Redcar also thumped Hallam 4-1 in their previous fixture and Obliterated Silsden 10-1 a couple of weeks before that. They sit second in the table and have netted thirty three times in eight games, so they obviously have a few players that know their way round the onion bag.
Speaking of bags, it's been a mixed bag of results for Garforth recently, but they've also started to get their attacking mojo back.
They had to settle for a 2-2 draw on Tuesday, thanks to an inspired Newton Aycliffe keeper, but they have scored ten goals in their last four games and will be up for the challenge in front of a home crowd.
Kick off is 3pm.
A big thank you to Howdens Garforth branch for sponsoring this game.
Another big thank you to Garforth Villa U8s , who will lead the teams out on Saturday.
