Garforth drew 3-3 with Scarborough Athletic last night in a behind-closed-doors friendly match played at York St John's College.
A Charlie Marshall strike opened the scoring before The Seadogs equalised shortly after. Jamie Barkway headed home to restore our lead and that was how it stayed until the break. Helmo Silva turned the ball in at the far post to make it 3-1, but two goals from set-pieces late on spared our opponents' blushes.
Another good display from Paul Marshall's side after a brave showing in the 3-1 defeat to former Garforth captain Darren Kelly's team back in August.
Town are next in action on Saturday 2nd January when (Covid-19 permitting!) we entertain Bridlington Town, kick-off 3pm.
A merry christmas and a happy new year to all!
