Garforth came away from Cleethorpes pointless, despite taking an early lead.
Rinor Ejupi was beat the Owls' offside trap in the twenty fifth minute to smash the ball home. It was a lead that lasted only three minutes, as Adam Haw brought the home side level.
Two minutes later Curtis Bateson struck, giving the home side the advantage heading into the break.
With just a minute of the second period on the clock, Ejupi raced clear again, only to see his low shot canon off the far post.
When Bateson struck again in the fourty ninth minute, it gave Cleethorpes the cushion they needed to control the game. Connor Smythe then made victory a certainty with a goal on seventy seven minutes.
