Sam Barker has left Garforth Town after 175 appearances (and 50 goals) for the Miners.

The popular midfielder leaves with the best wishes of the club and supporters, following an injurey-beset season, that saw him break an arm early on and then break a leg shortly after returning.

Sam will be remembered as one of the greats of recent times, due to his ability on the ball and his huge desire and tenacity.
