The Miners will visit Prestwich Heys on Saturday 13th October in the 1st round of the FA Vase after the Manchester side beat higher division opponents Padiham 6-2 in yesterday evening's replay. The cup tie replaces our league game at home to Staveley which has been moved to Tuesday 6th November (kick-off 7:45pm).
Our West Riding County Cup 1st round tie at Brighouse Town will be played on Monday 8th October, kick-off 7:45pm.
The changes to the fixture list make this Saturday's visit of Penistone something of a send-off for Rob Hunter's team who then hit the road for six away games on the bounce which sees us through to November.
