In the words of Alan Partridge, Rob Hunter's side look to "bounce back" from last week's cup disappointment as we head to North Lincolnshire tomorrow.
Both sides in fact will have a point to prove after coming unstuck against lower-placed opposition in the FA Vase in their last games, Town as we know at the hands of Prestwich, and The Poachers in Wedensday's replay against Leicestershire League side Saffron Dynamo. Things do look brighter in league football however, with Garforth unbeaten in three outings, and John Corbett's 7th-place side seeking a third match without defeat.
Town are yet to win at this venue, but there should be plenty of goals if the last two visits are anything to go by. A 4-2 defeat back in 2016 was followed by last season's 4-3 reverse on 29th November last year; goals from Mark Simpson, Lee Turner and Sean Hunter sadly in vain.
"Simmo" and Michael Thompson are expected to return to the side after both were cup-tied last weekend. Assistant Mark Smitheringdale is also set to take charge as Rob is currently on holiday.
