After a September in which Town were defeated only once, the month of October was something of a disappointment with only one victory, plus exit from the FA Vase and a fall of three places in the league table. Can November see a return to those previous highs?
After earning only one point from three consecutive home games, Rob Hunter's team head to North Lincolnshire tomorrow to play 14th place Bottesford. An upturn in form has seen the Poachers win their last three games on the bounce, so they'll be confident of another success to leapfrog us in the table. Our manager, who remains suspended, will be looking for an improved showing from his team, who'll be boosted by the return of four players suspended last weekend.
Victory for Town would be the first at this venue; our only previous visit here came on 28th September last year and ended in a 4-2 defeat despite a Mark Simpson brace.
