It's our penultimate friendly match tomorrow as manager Rob Hunter's thoughts turn towards finalising his first eleven.
We host our Division 1 neighbours Glasshoughton who last season finished in a play-off position, but sadly lost out in the semi-finals at Grimsby Borough. Darren Holmes and Lee Vigars' side will look to go one better and avoid all that heartache this time around by claiming one of the two automatic promotion spots. The two sides met this time last year in pre-season, with Welfare claiming local bragging rights in a 3-1 victory. Can The Miners come out on top this year to notch up a first friendly win?
