To use a cliché (or two), Rob Hunter's side look to build on last week's win and bring some Christmas cheer away from the Spen Valley tomorrow when we face 17th place Liversedge. Sedge were 4-2 winners at the Bannister Prentice Stadium back in August and, with key players starting to return from injury, its a result we seek to avenge in a bid to bring the top twelve back within reach.
Our hosts, managed by regular visitor to Cedar Ridge Jonathan Rimmington, ended November with victories over Albion Sports and Harrogate Railway, but the beginning of this month saw them fall to a 6-0 loss to Eccleshill. Forced by successive postponements to sit on their hands, they'll look to bounce back and climb away from the bottom three.
The two sides shared a point in the last meeting at this venue on 22nd August last year, Lee Turner with both goals.
