After the Easter weekend washout there's nothing new to say regarding Town's current form, but with our neighbours Liversedge three places below us, three points behind and with yes, three games in hand, tomorrow's match is one we need to take points from if we're to move out of the bottom half of the table. Our visitors are suffering a much-publicised backlog of fixtures due to the weather, but played three times more than we did last month and won all but one of them.
The two sides shared an enthralling 2-2 draw at Clayborn back in August. Lee Turner was on target twice for Town, but Jonathan Rimmington's side came back twice to take a point. In this meeting last season on 18th February 2017, Rob Hunter's team were 2-0 winners thanks to goals from Sean Hunter and Mark Simpson.
A 100th appearance for defender Luke McCrum will sadly have to wait after he injured his ankle in training, and fellow defender Jack Lazenby has also been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering the same fate while playing for Guiseley U21s. Goalkeeper Peter Lawrie starts the first of a four game suspension after the sending off at Thackley, but fit-again Steve Weatherill is expected to replace him. Also back in action are Calum Ward and Dan Coupland.
