Town's preparations for the fast-approaching league season continue with the visit of last season's Premier Division runners-up Pickering Town.
After a number of years at pushing at the top, Paul Marshall's team were finally promoted last season to take their place in the newly-formed Evo-Stik League Division 1 East. Tomorrow's match is however their third this season against NCEL opposition, having played Selby Town and Knaresborough in pre-season, losing in both.
When it comes to the last meeting between the two sides, some things are probably best glossed over (it is only July), but The Pikes were 1-0 winners in their last visit here on 2nd September last year.
Manager Rob Hunter is expected to field a similar side up to the one on Saturday, but with Sanchez Payne likely to return.
