A tough test for Rob Hunter's side tomorrow who seek a first win in eight games against our 3rd place neighbours Pontefract Collieries.
Despite being eleven points behind leaders Mansfield, The Colls' superior goal difference and six games in hand means this season's Premier Division title race is far from settled. There's been disappointment however for Craig Parry's team in the last fortnight or so which saw Penistone complete the double over them, and they'll look to string together another winning run in a hectic run-in to the season.
In this twice-postponed game, Craig Parry's team will aim to avenge Town's tremendous 2-1 win on Cedar Ridge back in December. Our last visit here came on 14th November 2015 where goals from Sinmi Oyebanji and Curtly Martin-Wyatt (2) weren't enough to avoid defeat by the odd goal in seven.
Town's ongoing injury crisis means we'll again be without a number of key players, although there is some good news to report in the return of Lee Turner and Aiden Kearsley.
