A difficult week in store for Rob Hunter’s men this year as we go up twice against our 3rd place neighbours Pontefract Collieries. Former Town goalkeeper Craig Parry brings his free-scoring team to the Supply Chain Network Stadium aiming for a tenth consecutive win in all competitions. The enforced recent break in fixtures will be the last thing they'll have wanted however, and they'll have to pick up where they left off in their last game eleven days ago. The Miners meanwhile have had the chance to get onto the training field to work on a few things, and go into tomorrow looking for a first win in six games. An improved all-round team performance will be needed though if we're to avoid defeat.
The last meeting between the two teams came on 6th April last year and saw Garforth win 6-1 thanks to goals from Danny Harris (2), Curtly Martin-Wyatt (3) and Mark Simpson.
Town are just two players shy of a full squad tomorrow - the only missing being Lee Turner (injured) and Jack McMurrough (away).
