Rob Hunter's side turn to the League Cup for a revival in fortunes as we host Division 1 opponents Shirebrook.
Our visitors - who made a change in the dugout last week with Lee and Alan Widdowson replacing Rob Camm - make their second trip up the A1 in three days after visiting Glasshoughton at the weekend in the league. Alongside ourselves, the Derbyshire side seek to escape a bad run of form; their last two games in ending in defeat. Whilst Town have managed only one win in the last four in the competition, "The Brook" can look to last season for inspiration, where they reached the Quarter Finals.
Its been eleven years since the last meeting between the two sides. This was a 0-0 draw in the league at Langwith Road back on 24th March 2007. The last on Cedar Ridge came earlier in the season on 4th November 2006 and ended in a 5-0 win for Simon Clifford's side.
