To keep the players match-fit in this staggered start to the new season, Paul Marshall's side will visit NPL side Pickering Town for a friendly match on Tuesday 8th September (kick-off 7:30pm).
There'll also be football right here in LS25 on Thursday 10th as the Young Miners take on Stocksbridge Park Steels in their FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round tie (kick-off 7:45pm). Admission is £3 adults and £1 seniors/children under 16 and you can pay on the gate.
