Garforth fan gets on his bike for kids in poverty

Last weekend, Garforth and Everton supporter Keith Miller, along with friend Darren Lloyd (Mackem and South Shields fan) set off on a bike ride to raise funds for Zarach.

Zarach is a Leeds charity that delivers beds and basics to children living in poverty crisis. Kids that are going to sleep hungry and cold.

Keith and Darren planned to raise money for this cause by cycling the 150 mile journey between the Bannister Prentice Stadium and the new Everton FC ground at Bramley Moore Dock in Liverpool.

Garforth Town co-chairmen Craig Bannister and Andy Hey were there to wave them off on Friday morning, on a route that took in a few other football grounds including Burnleys' Turf Moor, the DW Stadium in Wigan and Goodison Park.
Cycling through the heat (and a thunderstorm!), the pair arrived at Bramley Moore on Sunday, having raised £1010.
