Garforth needed a little help from U23 player George Harrison, to come back from a goal down in this hard fought, wind hit game.

The Miners had the wind at their backs in the first period, but couldn't use it to their advantage, despite a number of good chances.

The second half started in similar fashion, with the home side on the front foot, but Paulo Aguass was alert enough to follow up when Harry Flatters parried a shot, to give newly promoted Hallam their first goal in the NPL.

Garforth rallied, and their pressure finally paid off, as substitute George Harrison smashed home the equaliser.

More chances fell for Town in the dying minutes, but some last-ditch defending ensured that Hallam would make an unbeaten start to life in step four.
