Garforth ran out comfortable winners against a Northallerton side that struggled with Towns attacking pace.
Charlie Marshall swept Garforth into an early lead and Dexter Ball struck a thirty yarder to make the lead unassailable before the break.
Garforth had chances to put the result beyond doubt, but the visitors couldn't really get a foothold despite improving late on.
