Garforth Town AFC is delighted to announce the signing of a new 25-year lease on its Brierlands Lane ground, securing the club's home and providing the platform to build on three years of significant progress on and off the pitch.

The agreement represents a landmark moment in the club's history. Since 2023, Garforth Town has made substantial strides across its football operations, commercial partnerships and ground infrastructure. This lease secures that momentum and gives the club the long-term certainty to accelerate its next phase of development.

Andy Hey, Chairman of Garforth Town AFC, said:
"This is a landmark moment for Garforth Town. The last three years have shown what this club is capable of — we've grown on the pitch, grown commercially and invested in this ground. A 25-year lease gives us the certainty to go further and faster. We have a clear vision for what Brierlands Lane/Cedar Ridge can become and we're now in a position to deliver it. Garforth Town is going places."

The club has been based at Brierlands Lane since 1998 and currently competes at Step 4 of the Northern Premier League. With long-term security now in place, the board is focused on delivering a phased programme of ground improvements that will enhance the experience for players, supporters and the wider community.

Garforth Town AFC has established itself as a genuine community asset — providing semi professional football and playing an active role in the local area. Further announcements on ground development plans will follow in due course.
