Garforth Town is delighted to announce a new three-year partnership with BDC, who become the club's Official Stadium and Commercial Partners. As part of the deal, the club's ground will be renamed “BD Community Stadium.”

The club also wants to place on record its thanks to Bannister Prentice, whose name has been on the stadium for many years. Bannister Prentice remain closely involved with Garforth Town, and there'll be more news on that relationship to follow shortly.

BDC is owned and managed by Jon Wickham alongside Leeds United legend Dominic Matteo. The wider BDC team includes a host of ex-Premiership footballers active within the business day to day, including Bradford City & Hull legend Dean Windass, “The Magic Man” Paul Merson, and Neil “Razor” Ruddock.

The partnership brings BDC's extensive network and commercial experience directly into the heart of the club, supporting Garforth Town's continued growth on and off the pitch for years to come.

The deal covers the 2026/27 season and runs for three years, giving both parties a platform to build a long-term commercial relationship centred around the newly named stadium.

Significant BDC branding will be added to the ground over the coming weeks as the partnership takes shape.

Andy Hey, Chairman, Garforth Town, said:

“This is a significant moment for Garforth Town. This relationship started with a conversation James Horne had with Jon, and it's brilliant to see that early groundwork turn into a three-year partnership. BDC's energy and enthusiasm, backed by the experience Jon and Dominic bring, gives us a genuine platform to build on everything we've achieved.

We're also hugely grateful to Bannister Prentice for their years of support as our stadium naming partner, and pleased they're staying close to the club as we move into this next chapter.

We're looking forward to what this partnership can deliver for the club and the community around it.”

Jon Wickham, BDC, said:

“To say we're proud to become Garforth Town's Official Stadium and Commercial Partners is an understatement. This club has real ambition and a community spirit that matches what we're about at BDC. With the team we have, the systems, and the support from the wider football community, we're looking forward to helping push the club onto the next level quickly.

Myself, Dom, Razor, Deano and Merse will become regulars at the newly named BD Community Stadium throughout the season, so we're looking forward to meeting everyone involved and the wider support and fan base.”
