In today's FA Competition draws, Town have been drawn at home to West Didsbury & Chorlton in the Extra Preliminary Round of the Emirates FA Cup. It's a first ever meeting against the Manchester side who finished 9th in the North West Counties League Premier Division last season. The tie will be played on Saturday 8th August (kick-off 3pm). The Miners were on the end of an upset to lower league opposition last season, and should we come through we'd travel to another NWCFL side in Burscough or Droylsden in the Preliminary Round on 22nd August.

The FA Trophy draw throws up a Yorkshire derby as we host fellow NPL East Division side Bridlington Town in the First Qualifying Round on Saturday 29th August (kick-off 3pm). The two sides have met twice before in the FA Cup in 2002 and more memorably in 2018 when a late Albert Ibrahimi strike won it for The Miners, but are yet to meet in the Trophy.

Bottesford Town are the visitors in the FA Youth Cup Preliminary Round, to be played in the week commencing 31st August. The tie offers Charlie Marshall's side chance of revenge after The Poachers won 8-1 in the last meeting in 2024.
