Two time end of season golden boot winner and scorer of 24 goals last season James Burgess has been ruled out for 8 months following the injury he sustained at Maltby Main earlier in the season.

Following an MRI scan and seeing specialists they have determined he has ruptured his ACL. Everyone at the club is disappointed for "Burge" and he will be a loss for the coming season.

James missed the last 6 games of the season and would have undoubtedly added to his goal and assist tally. The talismanic striker is hoping to raise money to contribute to the cost of the operation to get him back on the pitch as quick as possible.
