Garforth Town is growing. We’ve secured a 25-year lease on our ground, we’re competing at Step 4 of the National League System, and we’ve got big ambitions for the years ahead. To make it happen, we need good people around us.

We’re looking for volunteers across several areas of the club. Whether you want to give something back to your community, build real experience in sports administration or marketing, or simply be part of something enjoyable on a Saturday afternoon — there’s a role here for you.

The roles we’re recruiting for:
Club Secretaries (Team of people)
We’re looking to build a small team of club secretaries who share the workload between them. Responsibilities include player registrations, league correspondence, and fixture administration — divided up by agreement within the group. No one person carries it all. Ideal if you’ve got some organisational ability and a few hours a week to contribute, but don’t want to take on a role solo.
Match Day Secretaries
A separate pool of people to cover match day secretary duties — team sheet submission, liaison with officials, and basic admin on the day. You agree between yourselves who covers which fixtures. Full guidance provided.
Match Day Supervisors
Help us deliver a great matchday experience. You’ll assist with gate operations, crowd management, and general coordination on the day. If you’re calm under pressure and enjoy being in the thick of it, this one’s for you.
Commercial Team Members
Help grow the club’s income through sponsorship and local business partnerships. Great for anyone with a background in sales, marketing, or networking — or anyone who knows Garforth’s business community well.
Other roles
We’re also looking for people who can help with social media and content, hospitality, and events. And if you’ve got a skill you think we could use, get in touch anyway. We’re open to it.
