We're delighted to announce the return of striker Curtly Martin-Wyatt. Curtly first played for The Miners back in October 2013 and scored on his debut, but is probably best known for a 23-goal haul in 2015-16 season which did much to maintain our Premier Division status. The popular 25 year old is a powerful presence up front who not only contributes goals but impresses with his aerial ability and holding up of the ball to bring others into play. Since last playing for Garforth he's impressed at Frickley Athletic, Hyde and Goole AFC but has struggled in recent months due to injury which have kept him largely on the sidelines.
Also joining are midfielders Jonathan Andrew and Javan Benjamin. A product of York City Academy, Jonathan joins us from Tadcaster Albion. Javan is another player to make a return, having first played for us in the Evo-Stik League back in 2012-13 season. The well-travelled 27-year old has spent time with Salford City, Mossley, Thackley and Yorkshire Amateur amongst others.
In defence, we also welcome Kieran Holmes to the Bannister Prentice Stadium. "Kez" is a promising 19-year old centre-back joining us from Tadcaster Albion U21s where he was captain.
