Garforth Town return to the Bannister Prentice Stadium on Tuesday evening as they welcome Newton Aycliffe in the Northern Premier League East.
The visitors arrive in West Yorkshire on the back of a 1-0 defeat at home to Ossett United, their fifth loss in just eight matches this season. That result also extended their winless run to three games, and they will be determined to get back on track.
The Miners also tasted defeat at the weekend, falling 2-0 away at league leaders North Ferriby in what was always going to be a challenging fixture. Despite that setback, Garforth have one win from their last three outings and will be aiming to make home advantage count on Tuesday night.
This is a fixture that has traditionally proved difficult for Garforth. They are yet to record a league victory over Newton Aycliffe, though supporters will remember the 2-1 success in the FA Cup back in 2014. With both sides eager to respond to recent results, this meeting provides a valuable opportunity for Garforth to end that run and take another step forward this season.

Garforth Railway Station is a mile from the club, there is also a taxi office at the train station.
