Still smarting from a hit and run match on Tuesday, the Miners will be looking to rectify defensive lapses, while getting their scoring mojo back when they visit Brighouse on Saturday.

A run of eleven games without a win has dragged Brighouse into the relegation zone and with a postponed game last Saturday, they've had to wait two weeks to try and get over a demoralising 5-0 defeat at Emley.

The Miners have had their own struggles recently, as a bad run of form (one win in six) has seen them lose ground on the promotion chasing pack.

Having lost inspirational captain Dan Coupland for the season, Paul Marshall will be hoping that stand-in skipper Jamie Barkway can recover from illness to shore up the defence that leaked two avoidable goals against Bridlington in midweek.

A number of attacking combinations have been tried in recent weeks, in a bid to re-ignite the strike force that was scoring for fun prior to the new year. Hopefully it can click on Saturday.

Brighouse won the league fixture at the Bannister Prentice Stadium back in October, but Garforth are unbeaten in their last three visits to St. Giles Road.
