Two form teams go head to head at the Bannister Prentice Stadium on Boxing Day in a game sponsored by RMP Groundcare
The Miners have been on the road for almost a month, but have been on fire, those three games away from the Bannister Prentice and scoring twelve goals in the process.
The Pewits are flying high in their second season in the NPL East. They currently sit second in the table following a run of seven wins from their last eight games.
After a slow start to the season, Garforth forwards Luke Aldrich and Charlie Marshall have hit a rich vein of form in front of goal recently.
Top scorer Aldrich has nine goals so far this campaign, scoring in four of his last five outings, while Marshalls' two headed goals last time out at Grimsby Borough made it four in three games for him.
Emleys' top scorer Manasse Mampala hasn't found the net since early November, but their recent aquisition from Bury FC - Gabriel Johnson has hit the ground running. With five goals in six appearances, he will pose a major threat.
Garforth have a good recent record against Fridays' visitors and are unbeaten against them (two draws and a win) since the sides joint promotion in 2024.
Garforth Captain Dan Coupland has scored in two of his last three outings against the Pewits.
This is generally a tightly contested fixture though and the last six meetings have resulted in two wins each and two draws.
