We're kicking off the New Year with another huge game, this time just down the road at our closest NPL rivals, Pontefract Collieries.

Pontefract sit one place and one point above Garforth in the NPL East Division, but the Miners have been gaining ground on their neighbours.

Garforth head the form guide for the division with five wins in six games, while the Colls have adressed a winless run of four games, by beating Silsden and Bradford Park Avenue.

This fixture was played out in the August sun last season, and turned out to be cracking, but controversial encounter.
Mo Fadera put Town ahead early in the game, only for a Jack Boyle brace to swing the advantage to the home side in the second half.
A bandaged up Jamie Barkway gave Town a deserved share of the spoils with an equaliser in the 83rd minute.
