This weekend, the Miners travel to North Lincolnshire to play top of the table Cleethorpes Town for what should be an interesting encounter at the Myenergi Stadium.

Recent results have seen Garforth Town pick up three wins in four in all competitions, but Saturday's opponents on paper will be very difficult to beat. The Owls currently sit top of the NPL East, scoring 33 goals in 14 matches and only losing one of those (10W, 3D, 1D).

Furthermore, they have picked up 19 points from a possible 21 in their last seven matches in the division, whilst scoring 19 goals in those matches as well. Striker Josh Walker currently tops the league's scoring charts with 14 and is in clinical form; having found the net in his last five consecutive games.

In their last match on Tuesday, they beat fellow high-flyers Emley AFC 3-0 and extended their lead at the summit to two points with a game in hand. New Owls signing Connor O'Grady recently signed with the club from Matlock Town; the centre back slotted straight into manager Craig Rouse's starting team for their last two matches and claimed back-to-back 3-0 victories. The new lad will look to keep a further clean sheet against the Miners.

Returning back to Garforth, the 4-2 victory on Wednesday against Brighouse Town in the County Cup saw the first of five consecutive away games for the Miners. The current unbeaten run looks to have kept spirits high in camp and definitely has proved Garforth can put away their chances and with some style.

With no new injury concerns, Paul Marshall will hope his side give a performance to be proud of on Saturday, considering as well that Marshall will be absent from the sidelines for the following two matches due to prior arrangements.

Kick off at the Myenergi Stadium is 3pm.
