The Miners head North for the second time this week, for a trip to in-form Blyth Spartans.
The Spartans are unbeaten on home soil in the league this season, ten unbeaten in all competitions. They did lose out in their last NPL fixture though, a 1-0 defeat at Liversedge.
Garforth go into this game on the back of a 2-0 away defeat at Guisborough. Paul Marshalls’ heavily depleted squad was stretched to the limit when they were reduced to ten men in the first half.
The sides are level on twenty points in the league table, but Blyth have two games in hand.
Dan Lanning leads the way in the scoring charts for Blyth, with six goals. Garforths’ Mutty is on seven for the season.
This fixture finished in a goalless draw back in April. In Garforths’ current situation, a point this afternoon would seem like a good result.
Kick off at Croft Park is 3pm.
There is a coach heading to this game. Any supporters wanting to go should get in touch with the club as early as possible to check for seat availability.
