Garforth are back under the BD Community Stadium lights tonight, for the first of two matches against Bridlington over the Bank Holiday weekend.
This FA Trophy first qualifying round fixture is the first meeting of the clubs since Brid won here back in February. Ben Whelan scored either side of half time to seal the win.
Oddly enough, the last four meetings have resulted in a win for the away side. A run that Garforth will be desperate to end tonight.
The Seasiders ended a run of four games without a win thanks to a goal deep into stoppage time by Toby Marriott at Grimsby Borough on Wednesday night.
The Miners come into this game on the back of an unbeaten start to the season, spanning over six games.
Expect Paul Marshall to make a few changes to the team that beat North Ferriby on Tuesday though, as the games come thick and fast at this time of the season. New signing Ronnie McGraph could be in contention to start after impressing on his debut on Tuesday, and James Burgess may be given more game time after scoring in the last three games as a late sub.
Luke Aldrich isn’t far from a return after his opening day injury and may make the squad.
