Next match - Home to Horbury Town (Tuesday 12th July)

After a short summer break, Garforth are back in action at the Bannister Prentice Stadium this Tuesday when they take on Horbury Town in the Yorkshire Trophy.

An impressive win at Brighouse last Friday got the Miners of to a perfect start in their quest for pre-season silverware.

Garforth can expect a tough test from Horbury, who are newly promoted to the NCEL (the highest placing in their history).

Swallownest beat Horbury 1-0 in their opeing Yorkshire Trophy match, so they will need to beat Garforth on Tuesday to stand any chance of reaching the final.

It should be a good workout for both sides whatever the outcome.
