After last weekend's storm-hit fixture, the forecast is looking perfect for a good game of football this weekend.

Garforth came through those tough conditions with a 1-0 win over West Auckland, a victory that took them within three points of the playoff places. Matlock currently occupy that berth, but with three points up for grabs, the Miners could leapfrog them on Saturday.

The Gladiators came out 6-4 winners in an incredible game at Consett last weekend, and are averaging two goals per game over the season so far. Jed Abbey is a big part of that stat and currently tops the NPL East scoring charts with eleven goals.

Garforth striker James Burgess is likely to start for the third consecutive game after scoring in his previous two.

As Saturday's match is our last home fixture before remembrance day, we will be taking the opportunity to honour and remember all of those who have lost their lives through wars.

Our players will be wearing poppies on their shirts, so please join them if you wish and wear yours too.

This Saturday we'll be doing all things Halloween, including a Garforth Town Halloween scavenger hunt.

There'll be lots of scary pictures dotted around the ground.

Simply collect your scavenger sheet from the clubhouse, find the pictures, each picture will have a number, write the correct numbers in the box next to the correct picture and once you've completed the hunt, return your sheet to the clubhouse bar to claim your Halloween surprise!

We'll also have certificates for the most creative costume & best dressed. You may also see a few of the staff and volunteers dressed up for the occasion, so we want to see your best Halloween costume.

In the clubhouse, we’ll be screening Grimsby Town vs York City from 12.30pm and Spurs vs Crystal Palace from 5.30pm.

Hot food will be served up by the snack kiosk (behind the main stand) and the spud van (located in the corner of the fanzone).

The Tudor Sales and Lettings bar will be open all afternoon, serving up some great local beers from the likes of Kirkstall Brewery.

The “Bar-forth” fanzone can bar will also be open at pitchside, so you don’t need to miss a moment of the game.

50-50 tickets will be on sale for just £1 (cash) as you enter through the turnstile. The winning ticket will receive half of the 50-50 takings, so the more we sell, the bigger the prize!

Programme sales and 50-50 sales also bring much needed extra income to the club, so please support these if you can.

Admission prices : Adults £10, U10s FREE

We accept cash or card payments throughout the club.
