Just days after an epic win over Barton Town in the NCEL premier Division, Garforth are back in home action against Penistone Church.
These teams met just over a week ago in a game that Garforth led in, but had to be abandoned over serious injury concerns to Penistone goalkeeper Harry Ambler.
The teams sit in 12th and 10th places in the league respectively and are both still in touching distance of the teams at the top. A Garforth win will see them jump above their visitors on Tuesday night.
After a slow start to the season, Paul Marshall has deveploped a strong squad with depth, which was highlighted when Lee Turner came off the bench to win the game against Barton on Saturday.
Penistone had a decent start, but have struggled for consistency and will be desperate to stop the rot on Tuesday after defeats in their last two outings.
Garforth won this fixture by a solitary goal last season, Sam Barker netting the winner just before half time. The Miners haven't managed to keep a clean sheet this season, so it may take more than one goal to win on Tuesday.
Town will of course be without the services of Toby Wells and father Tim (club announcer), but have strengthened the squad with the return of left-back Jack McGahan after a season away at Campion and Wakefield.
