Due to the postponement Saturdays game at Goole, our next match happens to be against the team we played in our last match.
Garforth put in an excellent performance to win 3-0 against Silsden (who were top of the league at the time), thanks to goals from Nash Connolly, Sam Barker and Rinor Ejupi.
This time the teams meet in the West Riding FA County Cup First Round.
The Miners have lifted the trophy four times, the last back in 2009/10 against Barnoldswick (highlights here).
The last time they reached the final was in 2015, when they were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Bradford Park Avenue (highlights here), played at Bradford City. Garforth saw off Harrogate Town in the semi final with goals by Mark Simpson and Tawanda Rupere giving the Miners a memorable away win (highlights here).
Please get here early to avoid delays at the turnstile.
