Garforth face a stern test away at North West Counties League side Squires Gate FC, in the first qualifying round of the Buildbase FA Vase this Saturday.
Since defeat to Lower Breck on the opening day of their season, the Blues have gone on an undefeated run of eight games, winning their last four and scoring thirteen goals in the process.
Striker Dean Ing is in incredible form, hitting six goals in those victories and recent signing Sope Awe will add to Gates' threat up front.
Garforth will have to re-shuffle to fill the hole left by recently departed play-maker Sam Barker.
Last weeks morale-boosting victory over Knaresborough will have given the Miners a lift and they should enter into the game with a "nothing to lose" attitude and just maybe cause a big upset.
