Garforth lost their New Years Day derby match, falling to two second half goals.

A tight first half ended in a nil nil stalemate, but the home side took the lead on 68 minutes and doubled that lead from the spot ten minutes later, following a foul that led to Jamie Barkways dismissal for a second yellow card.

Town have the opportunity to bounce back next Tuesday when they host Lincoln United at the Bannister Prentice Stadium.
