
Garforth Town kick off their 5th game of the season on Saturday afternoon against Blyth Spartans.
Paul Marshall’s side will be keen on grabbing their first win of the season after getting 4 consecutive draws in the league against Hallam, Grimsby Borough, Matlock Town and AFC Emley.
Blyth have picked up 4 points in 5 games. Winning against Newton Aycliffe, picking up a draw against Ashington and losing against Redcar Athletic, Consett and Silsden.
The Miners last faced The Spartans on 8th September 2012 in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round, where they were unlucky to lose 1-0, the only goal scorer being Blyths' Phil Airey.
Last time out in the league Garforth drew at AFC Emley 1-1. Dan Coupland grabbing the only goal for Town equalising in the 72nd minute.

The nearest bus stop is on Aberford Road (stop is named Aberford Road, Brierlands Close) and is serviced by the Arriva 164 bus.
Garforth Railway Station is a mile from the club, there is also a taxi office at the train station.
As always, there'll be limited parking at the ground and a steward will direct you as you turn on to Cedar Ridge.
