Echoing the words of Dorothy in the film 'The Wizard of Oz', there really is no place like home for striker Mark Simpson who's returned for a fourth spell at the club. The 23 year-old joined Worksop Town over the summer and scored twice for The Tigers in their victory over Shepshed Dynamo in an FA Cup replay, but has decided to make the move back to LS25.

Top marksman for the last two seasons with nearly sixty goals in total, "Simmo" made himself Town's all-time top scorer according to current records in April with 82 in all comps, and will look to pick up where he left off. Hopefully this time he'll have some competition, with Devonte Morton, Curtly Martin-Wyatt and Albert Ibrahimi each on four goals so far. The thoughts of manager Rob Hunter can be found on the Bootiful Game.

Another recent signing is that of Michael Thompson early last week. The 26 year-old Irish midfielder joins us from Harrogate Railway where he was captain, and impressed on his debut against Knaresborough.

A warm welcome to both players!
