Garforth lost out in a tense cup tie that swung from end to end in the latter stages.
Garforth took the lead after half time when James Burgess tucked away a pass by Joe Colley.
They joy was short lived when Burscough found an equaliser.
The game ended 1-1 and Burscough claimed victory by winning the shoot out 6-5.
