Garforth couldn't overcome the odds and provide the huge cup upset they hoped for against National league neighbours Guiseley.
The visitors took a slender one goal lead into the break and the Miners may count themselves unlucky that they weren't level at the break after some decent early chances.
As expected, Guiseley stepped up a gear or two in the second half and put Garforth to the sword, although Towns' efforts over the ninety minutes can't be faulted.
