Garforth rustily returned to action after the Bank Holiday washout, losing 3-1 against a buoyant Liversedge side.
Overall the game was fairly even, but the vistors were more clinical in front of goal, despite missing a penalty late on.
Mark Simpson got on the score sheet, but later limped off to be replaced by Calum Ward.
