Garforth survived a late, late scare to secure a point as Parkgate hit the woodwork with the last kick of the game.
A really promising start by the Miners was undone when Parkgate scored from a free-kick very much against the run of play.
A half-time Rob Hunter "pep-talk" saw Town come flying out of the box after the break and they were 2-1 up within five minutes thanks to goals from Turner and Simpson.
The good work was undone when Parkgate capitalised on shaky Garforth defending and heading for the final whistle, either team looked capable of sneaking a win.
An incredible last minute moment of drama gave Parkgate a chance to take the spoils when last man James Beaston was sent off for a foul right on the edge of Towns' box.
The resulting free-kick smashed against the bar, just before the referee called time.
