Garforth moved into the playoff places with a solid win away at in-form Hallam.
Town took the lead when Charlie Marshall weaved his way towards the penalty area and played a ball that was wickedly defelected past the Hallam keeper.
Ashley Flynn missed huge chance for the hosts after the break, when he blazed a penalty over the bar, but Dan Coupland made sure from the spot for Garforth later in the half.
The Journeymens' attack was totally snuffed out by a solid Garforth performance and they never looked like getting back into the game.
