A first half penalty settled Garforths' first pre-season friendly in a game that saw Rob Hunter give almost two different teams a run-out.
Luke McCrum (fresh from his move to the railwaymen) and Andy Sunley were familiar faces for the home side.
Garforth entertain Newton Aycliffe at the Bannister Prentice Community Stadium next Saturday.
