Garforths' three second half subs (Williams, Simpson and Hamilton) all made an impact as the team rallied for the final throes of the game.
Hemsworths' number 10 Yates did his side no favours by earning a straight red for wiping out Lumsden, sparking the fightback.
Williams and then Simpson netted, sending Hemsworth into panick mode. And had the wind drifted Simpsons' late lob the other way, Garforth might have been celebrating a famous comeback.
