Sean Hunter scored in the 89th and 90th minutes to stun home and away supporters who thought Garforth were dead and buried.
Maltby seemed as though they were heading to a deserved victory through goals from Gavin Allott and Sam Forster, but Garforth mounted a late flurry of attacks that left the home side scratching their heads and Town heading north with an incredible draw.
