Late-running work on the pitch has prevented us announcing our friendlies until now, but we're pleased to announce our pre-season will get underway on Tuesday 6th July when we host NPL side Scarborough Athletic (kick-off 7:30pm). Later that week we pay a rare Saturday visit to NCEL promotees Bridlington Town (kick-off 3pm).
On Saturday 17th July we head to Nottinghamshire to play another NPL team, Worksop Town, before returning to the Bannister Prentice Stadium on Tuesday 20th to host Nostell Miners Welfare. Our pre-season schedule finishes off on the 24th with an 'EL-Classico' against local rivals Yorkshire Amateur at the Southerns Stadium.
The league season is currently expected to begin on Saturday 31st July.
