Firstly, we hope everyone has been keeping safe and well over the last few weeks.
It was announced by the league yesterday that, should the country be released from lockdown as planned early next month, NCEL football would potentially restart on Tuesday 8th December. This gives a week for teams to begin training, which the previously planned date of Saturday 5th made difficult.
Garforth's first match would therefore be the "EL Classico" away to our neighbours Yorkshire Amateur on Wednesday 9th December (kick-off 7:45pm).
An FA meeting discussing the restart is due to take place on Thursday 26th November, which will hopefully lead to the government giving the go-ahead.
